1. a founder i can believe in who is motivated to build, along with making money
2. i already use/see myself using the product or believe in the direction (if non-product)
3. i get to work on interesting problems at the interesting junction (brownie points if they are not yet clearly defined) of revolutionary tech (crypto, AI, robotics, etc.) and real world value
4. much much more external problems to solve than internal ones
5. environment that fosters collaboration + promotes individuality
6. i’m not the smartest in the team
